Echinacea purpurea 'Pink Sorbet' - PPAF, PBRAF

Echinacea purpurea 'Pink Sorbet' - PPAF, PBRAF
This Echinacea purpurea cultivar has large, pink, fully double pon-pon-like flowers with very strong stems.

The cone of the flowers completely consists of ray flowers, which are however shorter than the lowest ray flowers, normally present with E. purpurea. Like with every other E. purpurea the cone develops bottom up, until all ray flowers have developed completely giving the flower a full, pon-pon-like appearance which can be compared with some Dahlias.

The king-size flowers grow on extreme thick and strong stems which have few branches. These stems can reach about 120 cm. Flowering starts at the end of July and continues until about the end of September.
